Program Resources OR Home

 |
| |
These books are recommended
as additional resources for families participating in The
Learning Program (children ages four through seven). |
| |
Learning Program parents: when transitioning
from program materials to commercially available books, make
sure you choose easy-to-read formats (avoid books with small
or closely spaced words, avoid busy pages). |
| |
Also, read new books to your child in the
beginning, instead of asking them to read new materials to
you (although you may let them read words they already know
if they ask). Before long, they will be saying “Let
me do it.” |
| |
Many selections are available through your local book store
or teacher supply store. |
| |
Books are not listed in any specific order of preference.
Choose books you feel are best suited for your child. |
